Dog-friendly Mendocino Magic with Riley and Charlotte

Hey there fellow dog-lovers, it’s Riley and my gorgeous all-black German Shepherd, Charlotte, ready to give you the lowdown on our unforgettable adventure through the dog-friendly wonders of Mendocino County! 🐾✨

We started our trip in style at the luxurious Stanford Inn, which offered breathtaking views of Mendocino Bay and fabulous pet-friendly accommodations. We even grabbed a scrumptious bite at the ever-so-inclusive Ravens Restaurant, where Charlotte was treated like royalty.

Feeling extra outdoorsy, we also explored the lush Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, where beautiful blooms and beachy views awaited us. And the best part? Charlotte was welcome to tag along!

But, trust me, you haven’t experienced Mendocino until you’ve been on the legendary Skunk Train! This historic rail journey is not only dog-friendly but offers an unparalleled adventure through amazing redwoods, rustic bridges, and beautiful mountains.

Aside from the train ride, Charlotte and I had a blast hiking through the enchanting redwoods at the Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve and soaking up the coastal charm of Mendocino Headlands State Park.

And what’s a trip to Mendocino without a bit of wine-tasting? We found some fantastic dog-friendly wineries like Navarro Vineyards and Handley Cellars Winery, where Charlotte got to relax like the queen she is while I savored the local vintages.

If you and your furry pal are looking to explore Mendocino County, I highly recommend checking out this comprehensive dog-friendly guide.

Until our next adventure, happy travels and endless tail wags from Riley and Charlotte! πŸΆπŸ’•
